friction is a thing which stops a thing from going in a high speed EG: a car is goin fr0m a hill towards a deep valley. if just put a simple action then it will atomatically stop. very simple action also takes places in friction fluids.

Friction and speed?

Speed is how fast something is moving. When to things are traveling at the same speed and rubbing together, they can cause friction.

What three factors affects a co2 cars speed?

friction, drag, and propulsion force

What are 3 factors that affects the speed of the solenoid?

Mass (inertia), friction, & power of the coil.

How does speed affect friction?

That depends on the exact circumstances. Solid friction hardly depends on the speed at all. In fluid friction, the situation is more complicated. Usually there is some range of speeds for which friction is more or less proportional to speed; at higher speeds, the force of friction may even become proportional to the square of the speed.

Does friction affect speed or velocity?

Friction can affect an object's speed by reducing it over time, as it acts in the opposite direction to the object's motion. However, friction does not directly affect an object's velocity which is a vector quantity that includes both speed and direction.

Does Friction only affects solid objects?

no it may affect the liquid and the gas also for example for the liquid the rivers ,and for the gases the friction may transform to heat

What causes friction between fluids and how does it affect the flow of the fluids?

Friction between fluids is caused by the interaction of molecules within the fluid. This friction can slow down the flow of the fluids, making it more difficult for them to move smoothly. It can also create turbulence and resistance, which can further impede the flow of the fluids.

What are two things affected by friction and how does it impact their movement?

Friction affects the movement of objects by creating resistance. Two things affected by friction are the speed of an object and the amount of force needed to move it. Friction can slow down the speed of an object and require more force to overcome, making it harder to move.

What affects the speed of a rolling car?

The speed of a rolling car is affected by factors such as the incline of the road, the weight of the car, the condition of the tires, and the force applied to propel the car forward. Friction with the road surface and air resistance also impact the speed of a rolling car.

Do fluids have friction?

Fluids have Friction. Everything in it, is under the force of fluid friction or drag. For example, a boat stops itself when the rowing stops, etc. Adarsh Kumar Dash

What affects friction of an object?

The friction of an object is affected by the roughness of its surfaces, the amount of force pressing the surfaces together, and the type of materials involved. Factors such as the presence of lubricants, temperature, and speed of movement can also influence friction.

What is the relationship between viscosity and speed flow?

Viscosity is a measure of a fluid's resistance to flow. Higher viscosity fluids flow more slowly than lower viscosity fluids at the same pressure and temperature due to the internal friction between the fluid molecules. This means that fluids with high viscosity will have a slower speed flow compared to fluids with low viscosity under the same conditions.
