The human body usually reaches a speed of approximately 160 mph before reaching terminal velocity, (because it is quite thin). once the body hits the ground it decelerates almost instantaneously to a stationary manner, in which time the gravitational potential energy/kinetic potential energy that has built up from the fall equates to the force pushing the body with enough pressure to break bones, cause major injury, and even death. Jumping off of a building is one of the most common acts of suicide.

It all depends on how high the bridge is and the conditions below it. If you fall of an extremely high bridge onto some concrete - simple answer is you'll find yourself deceased. If you fall off one of those play bridges at the playground in the sand below - worse case scenario is probably a broken arm. Jump off the San Francisco Bridge into the water below - probably get knocked unconscious on the impact of the water and then drown. All depends.
