If you lose electrons from your feet when you cross a rug, you become positively charged.
Your shoes will pick up electrons, so negatively charged.
The electrons will now be on the rug.
An object gives up one or more protons to get a positively charged objects and absorbs one or more electrons to get a negatively charged objects. This happens when two objects are rubbed together (ex. when you rub your feet on the carpet to give some one a shock;rubbing balloon on one's hair)
When you rub plastic, you transfer electrons from one material to the other. ... Because plastic is an insulator, the electrons cannot flow through it so they effectively get stuck there they are static
I think what happens is when it get more protons(+) than electrons(-) or vise versa. This can happen through simple things like when you rub your feet on the carpet and when you touch something metal you get a nice shock, also know as static electricity. What happens here is when the two objects are rubbed together electrons jump between the objects. This is just a small example of how this happens. Hope that helped, Kalrag
If stored properly it can hold its pH for several days, but as soon as the water leaves the ionizer it will begin to lose its properties. It is similar to rubbing your feet on the carpet to shock someone, when you rub your feet back and forth a charge is built up, but when you touch someone the charge dissipates, the pH of the ionized water starts to dissipate as soon as you poor it. There are specially designed bottles that can store the water and maintain its properties as long as possible.
when you rub the plastic ruler on e.g. a yellow duster it takes the electrons (which is the negative charge) from the yellow duster and the plastic ruler becomes negatively charged. The paper has both protons and electrons the protons are positively charged. and very much like a magnet the negative is attracted to the positive hence the paper sticks to the ruler Hastings Tarrant
Gain or lose
The rubbing causes electrons to be transferred.
You get zapped when you rub your feet on the carpet, because of electrostatic discharge. When you are rubbing your feet on the floor, the atoms on the floor have electrons that get stripped off of them and get put onto your body. When you have extra electrons sitting on your body that want to get off and you go to touch some sort of conductive surface, the extra electrons transfer, causing you to get zapped.
example you take a balloon and you rub it against your hair it will cause the balloon to lose or gain electrons which that mommnet it makes static

Super Rub 'a' Dub happened in 2007.

Rub them.
yes she has made someone rub her delicious looking gorgeous suckable feet
Rub dirty socks on your face, or rub somebody elses smelly feet on your face.
