The forces acting on the car are unbalanced because it is accelerating by changing direction, even though it has constant speed. Unbalanced forces cause acceleration (change in motion). That is what Newton's first law of motion is about.

Do balanced or unbalanced forces cause a moving object to continue moving at a constant speed?

unbalanced

Are there unbalanced or balanced forces on the moon?

Must be unbalanced. Otherwise, the moon would be moving at constant speed in a straight line.

What are the examples of unbalanced force?

Anything that is accelerating or decelerating because it is only balanced when something is moving at a constant speed.

How can you tell if a force is balanced or unbalanced by looking at it?

2 Forces are unbalanced when an object that is not moving starts moving or changes speed or direction. Balanced forces are the opposite they are where an object that is not moving stays still or an object that is moving stays at a constant pace.

Infer whether balanced forces must be acting on a car moving at a constant speed?

The friction force acting upon the turned wheels of the car cause an unbalanced force upon the car and a subsequent acceleration.

Is a balanced force moving?

A balanced force is either not moving or at a constant velocity

What type of force is shown in tug of war?

if nothing is moving they are balanced forces. If it is moving then the forces are unbalanced.

A glider sailing across the sky at a steady speed and altitude an example of and unbalanced force?

No. A glider that is moving at a constant speed and in a constant direction is at a constant velocity. In other words it is not accelerating. Therefore, all forces on it must be balanced.

How will you know whether the given applied force on an object is balanced or unbalanced?

You must firstly know it's physical details and it's conditions (The objects'). If you apply a balanced wave of force it will maintain those physical details and conditions but if you apply an unbalanced wave to the object it will suffer from maintaining it's physical details and conditions. Also when the object is not moving or when the object is moving at a constant velocity and if at it's moving it doesn't have any changing velocity (Acceleration) it will mean the applied force is balanced. Other than this, is unbalanced.

How do unbalanced forces differ from balanced forces?

An object with no force on it will either be at rest or moving with a steady velocity, an object with an unbalanced force, which is the same as saying it has a net force on it, will be accelerating (or decelerating)

When you stop pushing on a box and it slows down is it balanced or unbalanced force?

Unbalanced , because as long as it is moving it is accelerating therefor it is unbalanced . Now if it is at a complete rest then it is not accelerating therefor it would be a balanced force .

If a car is moving at a constant speed of mph is it balanced or not balanced?
