Radio waves ARE electromagnetic waves. "Radio" is the name we give to electromagnetic waves

in the range of wavelengths that historically have been used for wireless communication.

Radio is just one category of electromagnetic waves. Some others are light, heat, ultraviolet,

X-rays, and gamma rays. They're all the same identical physical phenomenon, differing only in

their wavelengths.
