Yes, purple is a real color! Why wouldn't it be? It is just a mixture of two other real colors, red and blue, thus making it also a real color. All things have a real color and all colors are real colors, otherwise why would we call it a color? Yes you could easily say that it isn't because it isn't one of the three primary colors, but you would also be saying that black, white, and basically all colors except for yellow, blue, and red aren't colors either because they aren't primary colors either. Your would ultimately be going against our whole world, too, because you would be saying that we are all wrong even thought this is what our society believes and agreed on a VERY long time ago and we still agree on this.
