Within our solar system it is. The earth does have stored energy in the form of heat, but it is assumed this came originally from the sun, when the earth was formed. The sun of course obeys the laws of physics which as far as we know apply to the whole universe, but one could wonder how the sun itself was formed, where the energy came for that.
Radioactive materials within the earth also add to the heat which it contains, and some materials such as uranium can be made to give energy by nuclear fission. These sources of energy may have been formed by processes that occurred before our sun was formed. However as at present, all energy arriving at the earth's surface from outside the earth must come from the sun.
yes
The energy from the ocean is the major recipient of solar energy. And in turn, the energy from the ocean is also the major source of energy here on earth. Ocean energy takes three major forms: wave energy, tidal energy, and thermocline energy, popularly called ocean thermal energy conversion (OTEC)
hot objects, i.e. incandescencereemission of absorbed light, i.e. fluorescence (immediate), phosphorescence (delayed)relaxation of excited electrons to lower energy levels in atoms, e.g. LEDs, neon lightstriboluminescenceetc.
The main source of energy in the water cycle is the sun/Solar radiation (sunlight).the source of energy that drives the water cycle is the sun because since the sun's heat makes the water evaporate which will led to the whole process of the water cycle and the process will keep on repeating. The water cycle or hydrologic cycle is driven by both short wave radiation from the sun, and long wave (infrared) radiation from the earth.

The sun is the major source of energy in the desert as well as most other biomes on earth.
Sun is the source of heat and light energy. It provides energy on earth's surface.
Sunlight is the major source of energy in food chain.
