Mass does not depend on Gravity. Mass is an intrinsic property of the body and gravity is the force exerted on any body by the things that surround it.

Weight, on the other hand, depends on gravity. It is equal to the product of the mass of the body and the gravitational force acting on it. W=mg, where W is the weight of the body, m is its mass and g is the acceleration of the body due to gravitational force.

This shows that a body can have different weights at different places with different gravitational force. For example, you will weigh about 6 times lighter on the Earth's Moon as compared to your weight on the Earth. This because gravitational force on the Moon's surface is about 6 times less than that on the Earth's surface. But your mass will still be the same.

From relation w=mg,we can see that mass cannot be changed.Therefore, weight is directly proportional to gravity.As value of g increase,weight of body also increase and vice-versa.
