the amount of matter in something is its mass. the mass is constant everywhere in the universe.
Not true: The mass increases when you speed up particles to very high speed. This is relevant for our calculations say , in range below light speed. Check out theory of relativity. Second: we do little know about matter. The current particle modell is ok, but we dont now whats really behind it. Where does gravity come from, how can electrons be on place A and same time at place B. Whats the universal model between forces? Mass balance is also ok in macro world, but not in micro world:Can matter appear from nothing, is vacum really nothing? We are scratching the surface, but this is what quantum physics is all about.
I believe that would be mass.
Different objects contain different amounts of matter.
The amount of matter something is made of is its mass.
the answer is mass
Its mass.

mass
The difference between inertia and mass is that inertia is the resistance to move. And mass is the amount of matter that something is made of.
Mass is the amount of matter something has.
Mass is the amount of matter in a sample of a substance. Mass translates directly to how much matter is in something, in other words, how many atoms are crammed into it.
Matter is anything that has a volume (takes up space) and has mass (made of something) if it doesn't have both these properties then it is not matter.

the total mass of the particles that something is made of
The amount of matter a substance is made of is called "mass".
There is not anything in the world that is not made of matter, because something that is not made of matter is not anything at all.
Mass!! Mass is the amount of matter in an object.
Mass!! Mass is the amount of matter in an object.
The amount of matter
I know this book is made of matter because it is something around me. Now you think of something that is made of matter.
