The peak of a sound wave does not usually have another name.

All waves have peaks and troughs. Sometimes the peak is called a crest, but that is mostly for water waves.

We say the amplitude is the size of an oscillation, the size of the peak above the middle level of oscillation.

The peak is related to the intensity, but that is not the same as intensity.

The atmospheric pressure gives the steady-state sound level that can exist. A sound wave is increase of pressure (compression) and pressure decrease (rarefaction) of air. It is impossible to create a pressure of less than zero pascal (vacuum), so the limit is a peak pressure change of 1 atmosphere or 101325 Pa.

Calculation of the max. sound pressure gives: 20*log (101325 Pa/20µPa) = 194 dB SPL peak or 191 dB SPL RMS.
