The northern lights, also known as auroras, are created when charged particles from the sun collide with gases in Earth's atmosphere. These collisions produce light, creating the beautiful colors and patterns we see in the sky.
The mesmerizing Northern Lights, also known as Aurora Borealis, are created when charged particles from the sun collide with gases in the Earth's atmosphere. This collision produces colorful light displays in the sky, with colors like green, pink, and purple. The Earth's magnetic field guides these particles towards the poles, which is why the Northern Lights are typically seen in regions near the North Pole.
Black colored light is not a scientifically possible phenomenon. Light is made up of different colors in the visible spectrum, and black is the absence of light. Therefore, there cannot be black colored light.
natural - lightening, the auroraman made - neon and florescent lights
The stars, including the sun, are composed of plasma. The northern lights are natural plasmas. Fluorescent lights and neon signs are also some examples of plasma. Plasmas are also used in computer chips as well. Hoped this helped!!!
The atomic theory is a scientific explanation that states that all matter is made up of tiny particles called atoms. These atoms are too small to see with the naked eye and are the building blocks of all substances. The theory also suggests that atoms combine in specific ways to form molecules and compounds.
an explanation is thought of.
The noun Northern Lights is plural, a word for more than one light. The Northern Lights (also called Aurora Borealis) is made up of a series of many lights. The noun Northern Lights is a proper noun, the name of a specific thing. A proper noun is always capitalized.
They are so beautiful and fairly rare.
the northern lights are caused by magnetic energy being shot out of the passing through the earths atmosphere it also happen in the southern hemisphere because the atmosphere is weaker in these parts
Scientific Theory! ------- Induction.. also it is made up of a... claim ,data ,and science knowledge
Religion basically states "the world is as it is because God made it that way". If you prefer an answer that has a bit more of reasoning to it, then you'll probably like the scientific explanation - which tries hard to do away with the "because" answer - better.
Because no-one knows how they were made and what they actually are to make something so beautiful.
You must be well north of Fairbanks and clear of any ambient ligting to get the Clear Picture. At least 15 miles outside of Barrow will give you the best visuals.
Green and red made by oxygen atoms Blue and Purple made by nitrogen atoms The different colors appear in a different altitude
Im from Colorado and no northern lights appear in Colorado, trust me, im pretty sure. Improvement 15 July 2010 - On rare occasion, the sun has released energy (not sure what it is called officially) that has made the northern lights viable as far south as San Diego. I believe it has happened twice in the last 10 years. Also, some nights you can see something that looks similar to the northern lights, but it's just how the light travels through the pollution in the air.
