With fire or flames, when the temperature reaches higher degrees it begins to burn white. Less "hot" flames will burn orange.

Color affects temperature by absorbing or reflecting different wavelengths of light. Dark colors absorb more light and heat up faster, while light colors reflect more light and stay cooler. Therefore, wearing light-colored clothing on a hot day can help to keep you cooler than wearing dark-colored clothing.

∙ 13y agoTemperature is the average kinetic energy of all the particles in a system. If something has a temperature, it radiates out energy in the form of electromagnetic (EM) waves (light waves), which we often call heat. The energy released from a particular substance at a particular is derived from quantum mechanics, but I'll simplify here. If the radiative heat emitted happens to have an energy that falls in the visible part of the EM spectrum (which also includes radio waves, UHF waves, microwaves, infrared light, UV light, x-rays, gamma rays, etc.), the color (which is a function of EM energy, red having the lowest energy followed by orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet) observed goes from red to orange to yellow to white, to blue.

Temperature can have an effect on color, and a dark color that absorbs most of the radiation that strikes it can, if the object's being struck by radiation, make it warmer (a black rock and a white rock, sitting in the sun, will be different temperatures because the white rock reflects most of the sunlight).

The factor that does not affect the resistance of a material is the color of the material. Resistance is primarily determined by factors such as the material's dimensions, temperature, and composition.
The color of the body does not affect its electrical resistance. Electrical resistance is determined by factors such as the material, dimensions, and temperature of the body. The color of an object is related to its appearance and does not have a direct impact on its electrical properties.
Yes, the color of a house can affect its temperature. Dark-colored houses absorb more heat from the sun, which can result in higher indoor temperatures. Light-colored houses reflect more sunlight and stay cooler.
Dark colors absorb more light and heat, causing fabrics to feel warmer, while light colors reflect more light and heat, making fabrics feel cooler. The color of a fabric can influence how much heat is absorbed or reflected, ultimately affecting its temperature when worn.
Material resistance is not affected by color, texture, or surface finish. It is primarily determined by the material's intrinsic properties such as conductivity, thickness, and temperature.
it is a warm color, therefore it affects warm temperature. it is a warm color, therefore it affects warm temperature.
Yes, it does.

The color of the water does not affect how it evaporates or condenses. Evaporation and condensation are physical processes driven by temperature and humidity levels, not by the color of the water.
The temperature affects the color of a star.

No, the color dye in clear water does not affect its temperature. The temperature of water is determined by its surroundings and any heat added or removed from the system, not by the color of the water.
The color of the water does not affect the rate of evaporation. Evaporation depends on factors like temperature, surface area, and air circulation.
age and shape Chiefly depending on their temperature and size. The age can affect these, but it not the cause of the color change itself.
