radiation
Snails move faster on rough objects as the sticky liquid they use for locomotion gets good friction and helps it to move. But on rough surfaces, the frictional force is much less and the snail can hardly move.
A rough surface has more surface area which allows more heat to be transferred.
As metallic objects are having good heat retention capacity.
They generally aren't. In contrast they are generally good conductors, both of heat and electricity.
Objects can reflect, refract, and/ or absorb light. white objects absorb very little light, so most of the light is reflected, thus giving the white object it's "whiteness." Inversely, dark objects absorb most of the light and very little is reflected. This is why black objects are great at absorbing light energy, which in turn is transferred to heat energy. So, the answer is black. Having said that, just because something absorbs (and hence doesn't reflect) *visible* light doesn't in any way imply that the object will be good at absorbing radiation at other non-visible wavelengths. Lampblack is a very good absorber (and hence emitter) across a very wide range of wavelengths.
reflect light well-normally shinysmooth pale colour objects: mirror, glass, shiny metal, tin foil...these objects favour a good image due to the reflection of light is regular do not reflect light well-usually rough, matt , dark colured objects: tree trunk, car wheel, dark carboard, brick, stone, dark opaque plastic... These objects diffuse the picture or do not giva a picture at all because reflected light is irregular.

a good answer would be He had a really rough week
By chewing your fingernails, also by ripping and scratching your nails on rough objects like sandpaper. You also have to remember to use a nailfiller very good.
Seem to be good, my rough collie is a legend
We generally get our descriptions from people, not from objects. Although if you count books, then that would be a good kind of object in which to find a description.
If you are talking about comfortability, a good longboard for rough roads will generally have a good amount of flex to dampen vibrations, some big, soft wheels to absorb shock as well, and some shockpads in between the deck and trucks to absorb more vibration. This type of board will not be great for downhill but that is mostly about skill.
Inanimate objects are neither good or bad, they are just objects. People are good or bad and use objects in either good or bad ways.
Inhaling fine particulate matter, in smoke, is generally unhealthy for the respiratory system. Some smoked objects are worse than others.
The soles of shoes made rough for good grip
For their dark color and tendency to feast on carrion (especially after battles) crows are generally considered a bad omen
