Edison advocated DC supply and Tesla AC, so Tesla was right in this respect
Tesla vs Edison is a traditional science battle but long since past. Edison had a primitive DC current as opposed to Tesla AC, which is the usual current now a days. both sides had different designs for light bulbs, Tesla being better. Tesla got his 15 minutes of fame at the world fair. they used AC & Tesla's light bulbs. Edison was rich but Tesla died in the red. also tesla was a inventor more of the thinking type but edison was a tinkering man.
Nikola Tesla and Thomas Edison were opponents in The Battle of the Currents, the rivalry between Tesla's alternating current (AC) system for electricity and Edison's direct current (DC) system for electricity. AC 'won' the battle, the current is far more effective. This means that all electricity used today travels by AC, not DC. All DC is used for anymore is batteries.
Edison was a greedy man. Most of his patents were done by his employees and he claimed the patent. Even the direct current motor was a thing he could not get it to work right. Tesla had it ready in a heart beat and Edison was not a man of his work and didn't pay Tesla for his work. Edison has the highest inventions stolen from the righteous owners.
Edison started what we called the current wars. He wanted to power the word with his Direct current motor which Edison could not work it properly. Telsa did made it work properly but Tesla's Alternate current motor is better. Edison started diffamation on Tesla. He electrified animals showing that his system is better which is was not. Research shows that Edison had scientists working for him and Edison got the patents. Obiously he had envy towards Nikola Tesla. One thing he was better that Tesla is the market strategies which he employed workers and then negleting the patents to be in their names. The only thing Edison invent for real, is the electric chair.
The War of Currents was a rivalry between Thomas Edison's promotion of direct current (DC) for electricity distribution and Nikola Tesla's advocacy for alternating current (AC). Edison claimed DC was safer, while Tesla argued that AC was more efficient for long-distance power transmission. Ultimately, AC prevailed as the standard for electricity distribution due to its ability to be easily transformed to different voltages.

Tesla.

Edison Marshall's birth name is Edison Tesla Marshall.
In the reason and logic, Tesla was better.
There is no concrete evidence that Thomas Edison actively hated Nikola Tesla. However, they had different approaches to electrical technology, leading to some rivalry. Edison preferred direct current (DC) while Tesla promoted alternating current (AC), which was more efficient. Their differences in business strategies and personalities likely contributed to their competitive relationship.
He worked with the Edison company. This didn't mean they worked together. Tesla worked underneath Edison's command as a employee and not coworker. When Tesla came to the United States, Edison had serious problems with his direct curent motor which Tesla corrected. Edison didn't not meet his payment agreement so Tesla left his company. As most Edison's patents were the work of employees in his company, so was the major contribution Edison did electricatly which was the direct current motor which was in great part made by Tesla. Edison couldn't work it work no matter what.
Edison's direct current was the system used in the late 1800's. This system brought problems like electrocutions and house fires. Tesla was offered 50,000 dollars to get this system working properly and as a matter of fact, it was his first job when he came to the United States. Edison got the work done and refused to pay so tesla quit and started his own company. Tesla beat Edison on lighting the whole world with his alternating current system.
In the "War of Currents" era in the late 1880s, George Westinghouse and Thomas Edison became adversaries due to Edison's promotion of direct current (DC) for electric power distribution over alternating current (AC) advocated by Westinghouse and Nikola Tesla. Edison had major flaws in his DC machine. Tesla made it work right. Edison has the pattent. In few words looking back in time, research shows that Edison had his inventors working for him getting him the patents. Edison never had ideas like Tesla had.
