falling over and grazing you knee, if there was friction between your feet and the floor you wouldn't of fallen over or maybe the friction was to great and you tripped over, the graze wouldn't of happened if there was no firction on the ground you fell on you would just slid and get a bruise but because there was your skin was forced along the high frictioned surface( say gravel) and grazed your skin
