To move an object forward from rest the thrust of forward force must be greater than the drag acting in the opposite direction.

In order to keep moving at a constant velocity the forward force must equal the drag.

What is a force produced by a circular motion that causes something to accelerate?

Circular motion doesn't produce force. 'Centripetal force' is necessary in order to produce circular motion. Also, so-called 'centrifugal force' isn't a force at all.

What are some forces that can start motion?

Forces are motion:gravitational force causes things to fall, Elastic spring force allows springs to be compressed or stretched and frictional force causes heat, but without motion, there's no heat, so basically, what I'm trying to say is, ALL the forces produce motion

Does force cause motion?

An unbalanced force causes motion. This occurs when the net force does not equal zero.

When does force cause motion?

An unbalanced force causes motion. This occurs when the net force does not equal zero.

What causes the changes in motion?

Force

What can produce motion?

Forces produce motion. Change in motion is directly proportional to applied force (Newton 2nd Law of Motion).

What force will produce motion only if it is?

Only if it is an unbalanced force

When can forces produce motion?

Forces can produce motion when the net force acting on an object is not zero, causing the object to accelerate in the direction of the force. Inertia is overcome by an unbalanced force, resulting in the object's motion.

Does force have size and motion?

Force has size, which is how much force put into somethig, e.g., 10 Newtons of force. It has motion because force is basically motion, because force can be unbalanced or balanced, and unbalanced causes motion, and is basically motion.

When will a force cause motion?

A force will cause motion, specifically it causes acceleration, whenever it is unbalanced by an opposing force, such as friction.

What is the force that causes a resistance in motion called?

Inertia

How do you measure momentum?

See Momentum mean the quantity of motion present in a body whereas the Force is an agent which produce or tends to produce the motion in a body or stop the motion of the body therefore there should be some motion in the force when it is exerting so the quantity of force applied will be the quantity of motion mean momentum of the force .
