Theologians will immediately snap the response 'god causes Existence.' This may or may not be truth depending upon your perception of the appropriate definition of commonly used (and commonly defined) words.
One may argue that the concept of 'god' is itself equal to the concept of 'Existence' [both of which cannot be specifically proven/defined without understanding the concept of 'faith' (which is, essentially, an assumed belief in something which may or may not exist)]. To believe that Existence actually occurs, one must have faith in the proof of their perceptions of Existence.
To be clear, faith does not cause Existence. The choice to want to choose to want (possibly infinitely) is what causes Existence. Faith is simply the medium of 'proof' that will of choice requires to perceive the conceptual Existence.
"Ridiculous! Inanimate objects can't choose!" you might say. Consider the limited senses and perceptions of humans' knowledge of the composition of atomic nuclei. Our own limited perceptions have proven to us that nothing within Existence is inanimate. Our limitations restrict our understandings of Existence and all entities about it (large and small).
The above is only more theory. Beyond the theories nothing is certain.
Existence occurs because it chooses to occur.

The need to isolate any kind of ultimate cause could be seen as a particularly medieval way of thinking. There may be some usefulness to the question for thinkers interested in philosophy, theology, or even the history of science. From the point of view of experimental and even theoretical science, it is not likely that the question can ever have a completely satisfying answer, and so its usefulness is limited. It might be more useful to ask questions like: "What is that?" "How does that work?" "What came before that?" "What is likely to follow?"

The concept of a deterministic universe suggests that all events are determined by previous causes, leaving no room for free will. This idea challenges the existence of free will, as it implies that our choices are predetermined by past events.
Gravity is a fundamental force that causes objects with mass to be attracted to each other. Its existence is proven through various scientific observations and experiments, such as the way objects fall towards the Earth and the orbits of planets around the sun.
The existence of matter is not infinite, as there is a limit to the amount of matter in the universe.
"Verb" is a word that denotes an action, occurrence, or state of existence.
In the movie "Toy Story," Buzz Lightyear experiences time dilation when he realizes that he is a toy and not a real space ranger. This realization causes him to question his perception of time and reality, leading to a shift in his understanding of his own existence.
A bane of one's existence is a person or thing which causes a significant problem to an individual.
Philosophy is the academic discipline concerned with first causes and principles and of the purpose and meaning of existence.
Aquinas' Third Way argument for the existence of God is based on the idea that there must be a necessary being that causes all other beings to exist. This necessary being is what we call God, who is the ultimate source of existence and order in the universe.
Earth's liquid core. It causes Earth to rotate, thus creating gravity.
Parapsychology is a discipline that seeks to investigate the existence and causes of psychic abilities and life after death using the scientific method.
The major source of conflict is the existence of Israel.Others don't want it in the neighborhood at all.

No, the existence of God is not necessarily ruled out by determinism. Determinism is the belief that all events, including human actions, are ultimately determined by causes external to the will. This does not necessarily preclude the existence of a higher power or deity.

Yes, Thomas Aquinas accepted and elaborated on Aristotle's concept of the four causes: material, formal, efficient, and final causes. He integrated these causes into his philosophical and theological framework, using them to explain the nature of existence and change in the world. Aquinas emphasized the importance of these causes in understanding both natural and divine processes, highlighting their relevance in his metaphysical discussions.
Reverse causality - as the pairing of the words implies - is cause and effect in reverse. That is to say the effectsprecede the cause. The problem is when the assumption is A causes B when the truth may actually be that B causes A. Which came first...the chicken or the egg: Did a chicken cause the egg to come into existence or was it the egg that caused the chicken to come into existence? For example, some economists claim that financial development helps growth, but others argue that economic growth itself causes financial development.
