Supposedly it travels at a constant rate, is both a particle and a wave.. but in general is a small space on the electromagnetic spectrum that is discernable to the human eye in perception of color.... but to state in general all light waves are radiation... the resultant output of fission and fusion simutaneously from the surface of the sun, the 8 minutes of distance light travels to earth, one astronomical unit, to the several feet of its ending journey where it nourishes photosynthetic process as all chlorophyl based life needs sunlight , leaves could be like mini solar panels.... its the transmission of polygons by sunlight that nurishes the process...

What characteristics are common to all light waves, their limitation of wave speed coupled with packets of energy called quanta behaving like elemental particles.....

Wave Particle Duality, and its constant speed... energy particles are different from elemental particles... even though both behave symmetrically, i.e. equally....

btw im just some dumb kid...

What does sound waves water waves and light waves have in common?

Sound waves, water waves, and light waves are all examples of waves that transfer energy from one place to another. They all exhibit characteristics of wavelength, frequency, and amplitude. Though they travel through different mediums (air, water, and vacuum, respectively), they all follow the principles of wave behavior such as reflection, refraction, and interference.

What characteristics do all stars have in common?

production of light

What is the property common to all electromagnetic waves within a vacuum?

The property common to all electromagnetic waves within a vacuum is that they all travel at the speed of light.

Do all objects reflect light waves?

No. A black hole does not reflect light waves. But that is assuming you regard a black hole as an "object."

What do light waves sound waves and radio waves all have in common?

Light waves, sound waves, and radio waves are all forms of energy that propagate through a medium (such as air or space) in the form of waves. They all have different wavelengths and frequencies, which determine their properties and how they interact with the environment.

Which characteristic is common to microwaves radio waves and television waves?

They are all radio waves with frequencies lower than visible light.

What does gamma rays and radio waves have in common?

They are all basically the same thing, electromagnetic radiation, but with different frequencies. All these waves are em waves which travel with the speed of light and it is the common b/w all the waves.

What are two things all waves have in common?

they all have amplitudes and they all have frequencies.

How are the different types of waves alike?

Different types of waves, such as sound waves, light waves, and water waves, all share common characteristics. They all involve the transfer of energy through vibration or oscillation, they can be reflected, refracted, and diffracted, and they follow the principles of wave behavior, such as interference and superposition. Additionally, they all have properties like frequency, wavelength, amplitude, and speed.

Do all light waves emit radiation?

Light waves do not emit radiation, light waves are radiation.

Do transverse waves in photography create light glare?

All light is transverse waves. All electromagnetic waves, for that matter.

What similarities do the waves of all colours of light share?

All colors of light are forms of electromagnetic waves that travel at the speed of light through a vacuum. They have characteristics such as wavelength, frequency, and energy, with shorter wavelengths corresponding to higher frequencies and vice versa. Additionally, all colors of light can be described in terms of their wave-particle duality, with both wave-like and particle-like properties.
