I don't believe there is a special word for stored energy, I would just call it that, "stored energy".

Energy of position is called potential energy. For example, if you lift a weight against the force of gravitation, the energy you transfer to the object is stored as gravitational potential energy. At a higher position, it has more of this energy than when it is at a low position.

Stored energy is known as what energy?

Stored energy is known as potential energy. This type of energy is stored within an object due to its position or configuration, and has the potential to be converted into other forms of energy, such as kinetic energy.

What is the energy stored in chemical composition?

The energy stored in chemical composition is known as chemical energy. It is the potential energy stored in the bonds between atoms within a molecule. This energy can be released or absorbed during chemical reactions.

Would you expect bond formation to be an energy-releasing process or an energy-absorbing process?

Bond formation is a energy releasing process that means exothermic process.you can calculate these energy by knowing enthalpy change .If energy stored in the product is less then the energy stored in the reactant ,the process is known as exothermic whereas if energy stored in the product is more then the energy stored in the reactant ,the process is known as endothermic.

Where does ATP store energy?

ATP also known as Energy is stored in the Mitochondria.

What kind of energy is stored energy?

This is called potential energy, because it is available when required

What is ability to do work is known as?

The ability to do work is known as energy. Energy can exist in various forms such as kinetic energy (energy of motion) and potential energy (stored energy).

What is Energy stored in chemical bonds of molecules.?

Energy stored in chemical bonds of molecules is referred to as chemical energy. This is known as 'enthalpy'.The type of energy that is stored in a molecules bonds is potential energy. This energy can also be called bond energy. It is important to know the different kinds of energy. Potential energy is the energy that is stored in chemical bonds.

Stored energy is know as energy?

Stored energy is known as potential energy, which includes gravitational potential energy, elastic potential energy, and chemical potential energy. When an object is in motion, it possesses kinetic energy which is the energy of motion.

What is the biological function of starch?

In biology, starch is known as an energy saver, as it stored the energy. This energy is released during respiration. Starch is also insoluble in water, so it can be stored in plants as an energy source.

What is stored molecular energy called?

What is the difference between stored energy and energy in motion?

Stored energy refers to energy that is stored in an object or system and is potential energy waiting to be released, such as in a battery or a compressed spring. Energy in motion, also known as kinetic energy, is the energy an object possesses due to its motion, such as a moving car or a swinging pendulum.

What is stored energy and the energy of position?

Usually we have studied as followings. The energy by virtue of the position is known to be Potential Energy And the energy possessed by virtue of motion is said to be Kinetic energy. Stored or gathered or Saved or Acquired energy is a general term which stands for both potential and kinetic.
