quantities which are not mademade from major quantities
Quantity can have different meanings depending on who is using the term and in what context. What quantity of electricity is being used is different from what quantity of water was needed.
Quantity is a measurement, measurements have units.
Length is a measurement of quantity, metres or yards are units;
Volume is a measurement of quantity, litres or gallons are units etc.
Quantity comes from Latin quantum, the amount. It could be of any dimension, mass, time, length, and so on. Generally applies to the results of a measurement.
quantity= how many
Specific quantity of energy
it is heat
Direct variation
In a vector quantity, it is important to specify a direction. In a scalar quantity, it isn't. Vectors (such as force) have a magnitude (size) and a direction (such as North). Scalars have only a magnitude.
A scaler quantity is one with magnitude (size) only. ie. not direction dependent. Speed is a scaler quantity, however, velocity is a vector quantity, it has size and direction.
Quantity refers to an amount, value, 'how many', how much'
Part of a quantity
Specific quantity of energy
be greater in number or size than (a quantity, number, or other measurable thing)
The term una pequeña cantidad means "a small quantity" (e.g. a dash).
it is heat
If you mean a variable then it is an unknown quantity that can represent many values until its specific value is determined usually by solving an equation.
