A furnace on a power station is typically used to generate heat by burning fuel such as coal, natural gas, or oil. This heat is then used to produce steam which drives turbines to generate electricity. Essentially, the furnace plays a key role in the process of converting fuel into electrical energy.
A furnace is used in a power station to burn fuel, such as coal or natural gas, to produce heat. This heat is then used to generate steam in a boiler. The steam is used to drive a turbine connected to a generator, producing electricity.
In a thermal power station, fuel (such as coal, gas, or oil) is burned to produce heat, which is used to generate steam in a boiler. The high-pressure steam then drives a steam turbine connected to a generator, producing electricity. The steam is cooled and condensed back into water, which is then recirculated in the system.

A Furnace works by heating the power plant with the fuel provided you idiot... how else do you think it works??
To turn off the furnace, locate the power switch or breaker connected to the furnace and switch it off. This will shut down the furnace and stop it from running.
Battersea power station. Hartlepool power station
To turn off the furnace in your home, locate the power switch or breaker for the furnace and switch it off. This will stop the furnace from running and producing heat.
Power transformer is used step up or down the voltage for the electricity transmission while furnace transformer is used to melt the metals and ores in the electric furnace.
There are three power stations in India; Tarapur Atomic Power Station, Rajastan Atomic Power Station and Kakrapar Atomic Power Station.
We certainly hope that you checked the furnace before posting the question here ... one would think this should not be a normal sound at all ... there is no correlation between power sources changing and the operation of the furnace. The furnace doesn't care ... it will operate with either power source, at least ond would think.
Cruachan Power Station is a storage hydro-electric power station whereas a Normal Hydroelectric power station is produced and then used, no storage needed.
Ferrybridge is a coal powered power station.
Formby Power Station railway station was created in 1917.
