I assume you are referring to the Law of Conservation of Matter. It states that during a chemical bond, energy and matter cannot be created, nor destroyed; the amount of energy and matter at the start is identical to the amount at the end.

This is one of the 3 laws of thermodynamics. What it means, is that the amount of energy in the universe remains constant. Matter is also a form of energy, and the bonds in molecules can contain energy.

that means that you can't create or destroid energy

That's another way of saying that the total amount of energy in a closed system (or in the Universe) doesn't change.

What does conservation of energy mean to a scientist?

It means that energy cannot be created nor destroyed, but it can change from one form to another.(for example, mechanical energy to heat energy.)

What are the 3 parts of the Law of Conservation of Energy?

-energy cannot be destroyed -energy cannot be created -energy can only can converted into different forms of energy

Does conservation of energy mean saving energy?

The law of "conservation of energy" states that energy can neither be created nor destroyed by any chemical or physical means. These days, many scientists are talking about conservation. Conserving energy does mean saving energy.

What does it mean when the net charge is conserved in a closed system?

It implies the law of conservation of energy. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed. It can oonly be changed from one form to another.

If energy can not be created then how was the universe created?

That is a very good question, and the answer is surprisingly simple. Energy cannot be created, not destroyed. The Universe was not created through the creation of energy, but instead the use of energy that was already there. No energy was created, it was just stored and rearranged to form the Universe. Hard to imagine that energy always existed, isn't it. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but if energy cannot be created nor destroyed, then does that mean that all energy is infinite years, decades, centuries, millenniums old? When we get energetic, we store energy. We ARE energy. When we rest, we store energy, then later, we release it by going throughout the day. The reason we need to sleep to get enough rest is if we stop trying to use our sight, our most used sense of the day, then we allow our brain to completely relax. With all that empty space where our thoughts should be, we create images that seem real enough and are controlled completely by our thoughts i.e. dreams. Then why can't we always control our dreams? Because our thoughts are also energy, and we cannot always control our thoughts. And just think, if I'm right, and correct me if I'm wrong, then the energy we use to move, think, and live is infinite millenniums old.(alternate answer) Although under normal circumstances it is believed that mass/energy cannot be created or destroyed, there may be exceptions to that rule. This is a technically complex topic. Try reading Stephen Hawking's book, "A Brief History Of Time".

What does it mean when energy can't be created or desrotyed?

Energy creates the sun and everything which is why it can be destroyed energy isn't created it was created by itself therefore energy is powerful on everyone in the whole world

Why let say if the forward reaction is exothermic does this mean that the backward reaction gives out or take in heat and why?

If the forward reaction is exothermic then the back reaction would be endothermic. This happens because it upholds the law of conservation of energy, which says that energy cannot be created or destroyed.

What does energy production mean in science terms?

Energy can neither be created or destroyed, only transformed. Therefore in science terms, one can not produceenergy, only transform it.

What does indstructible mean?

What does indestructible mean?

that you cannot destroy it... that is too strong to be destroyed
