weight is equal to mass times by gravity ie W=mg this means that gravitational field strength, multiplied by the amount of matter that something is made up of (ie, 50kg, 10g, etc) is it's weight. so, you would weigh less on the moon, because the gravitational field strength is less, though your mass would be the same.
... represent an example of cause and effect.

The gravitational force arises because of the phenomenon of gravity. Gravity is a characteristic of all matter that causes it to be attracted to all other matter, and the property of gravity is expressed or exhibited as the gravitational force.

Gravity isn't a substance, so it doesn't have any weight. It interacts with mass, and causes mass to have a weight.

What is gravity's relationship to weight?

Gravity is the cause of weight. Increased gravity creates increased weight, decreased gravity decreases weight.

How are gravity and weight related?

weight is the effect caused by gravity. if gravity increases, so does your weight!

How is gravity and weight?

Weight = Mass * Acceleration of gravity. Weight = force of gravity on particular object. Weight = force of gravity on an object; Gravity = attracts all objects toward each other

How gravity affect weight?

Gravity impacts weight because weight is calculated using F = M * A. F - Weight in this case M - Mass of your object A - Acceleration of gravity on the planet the object is on. Assuming mass remains constant and your acceleration (your gravity) increases, weight will increase. If acceleration (your gravity) decreases, weight will decrease.

What is the relationship of gravity and weight?

Weight is a measure of the force of gravity.

How Weight and mass changed by gravity?

Weight is a force. Gravity is an acceleration. Therefore, mass multiplied by gravity gives you weight.

What is the weight of a 870 kg car with the presence of gravity?

If there is gravity there is weight. So the weight exist only when the gravity exist.

What affects weight?

Weight is affected by gravity. Gravity pulls you down causing you to have weight on Earth. Depending on gravity your weight changes. On earth gravity is 9.8 m/s squared.

Does gravity depend on mass or weight?

well weight depends on mass and gravity so gravity depends on mass. e.g weight=mass X gravity

Discuss the effect of weight on gravity?

It is really the other way round - gravity has an effect on weight. The more gravity, the more weight.

Do weight and mass both depend on gravity?

No. Mass is independent of gravity, but weight is a function of gravity and mass.

What relationship does mass weight and gravity have?

Weight = mass x gravity
