It depends on what type of Alarm Clock but mostly Electrical and Mechanical Energy
Chemical energy winds the clock. (Read below and see the argument that the origin of the energy is actually solar energy.)
The end result is the spring in a clock gains potential energy. We can do a careful delineation of how that energy gets there.
The basic theorem of energy conservation is sometimes called the work-energy theorem. It states that if work is done on a system, the change in energy of the system is equal to the work done on it. Conversely, when work is done by a system, the system loses energy in an amount equal to the work.
In the case of the clock, work was done on it. (Work is force times distance.) Force winds the alarm and that force is applied for a distance and in the direction of motion, even if that direction changes and it ends up being circular as in twisting a key to wind a spring. Apart from frictional forces opposing the winding, the work goes into the spring which gains potential energy. (Friction in the winding process produces some heat, so a careful accounting would put work done equals frictional heat energy plus spring potential energy. As stated above, work done equals change in the energy of the system.)
Now, to the core of the issue as to external source of the work to wind the clock. That work must decrease the energy of another system so that energy is conserved. That other system is the person winding the clock. That person has chemical energy in the form of the biochemical processes in the body that operate the muscles that apply the force to create the movement necessary to wind the clock. So, chemical energy (from ATP if you ask a biologist) drive the mechanical process of moving muscles to apply the forces winding the clock. In the muscles, the conversion of chemical energy to mechanical work is not 100% efficient, so some chemical energy will also result in heat generated with muscle movement. (You do sweat when you exercise.)
In accordance with our theorem, if one carefully measured the heat produced and the work done by the "system," the person winding the clock, the change in energy of the system equals the work done in winding plus the heat generated in the body movements.
We can go further and explain the source of the energy that flows into the body, but that is pretty obviously the food you eat which is another form of chemical energy which was previously derived from plants taking in energy from the sun!
It Is Electrical Energy --> Sound Energy + Heat Energy
The wound spring in an alarm clock stores potential energy.
Electrical energy converts to mechanical energy to make the clock tick even if it is digital.
chemical energy--->mechanical energy--->sound energy
The energy stored in the clock is in the form of elastic potential energy of its coiled spring .The spring is coiled by winding the clock.
It depends on the type of clock. A mechanical clock converts potential energy to kinetic energy. The energy is wound up in the spring and is released through the escape mechanism and gears. In a motorized clock, electricity is converted to magnetism and then motion. In a digital clock, electricity is converted to light and the electricity is also used to power the logic circuitry needed to put the correct time on the display.
it needs some short of push to get the clck moving
In a quartz clock, the cell has chemical energy. it will converted in to kinetic energy.

A digital clock can be looked at and the time will be known immediately. You do not need to know how to tell time with a digital clock.
A digital clock is the quietest.

1. Generally speaking, a digital clock is a digital device. The "heart" of any clock is whatever is used as its time base, and with a digital clock, some kind of digital timing circuit supplies that time base. From there, digital dividers and other circuits count seconds, and other circuits drive a display. 2. Yes by definition it is.

The first digital alarm clock was first invented in 1956.
