Depends on the relative size of the bodies.
Relatively small bits smash into the Earth all the time. If the are tiny meteors, they just burn up in the upper atmosphere leaving nothing but dust. If they are larger, bits of them land on the surface and are called meteorites. They can do some damage, but are rare. Larger meteors are very rare (relatively) and can do enough damage to wipe out most life on earth. We have had a few mass extinctions over the last few billions of years.
Really large bodies smashing into each other only happens when solar systems are forming. Either one absorbs the other, or the smaller one glances off leaving some stuff behind and taking some other stuff with it to form a new body that orbits the bigger one. Current theory thinks that's what happened with our Moon.
probably the gravity between each object pulls each other very close to the point where they collide
Momentum is always conserved
it brakes
The soft tissues of the passengers' bodies collide with the more solid parts of the body, such as the skull, ribs, or pelvis.
When the collision is perfectly elastic then energy is not lost but exchanged between the bodies collided. So total KE would remain the same before and after collision. But in case of inelastic collision, there would be loss of energy in the form of heat or sound or vibration etc etc. But whether collision is elastic or inelastic the momentum is conserved. That is, the total momentum in a given direction would be the same before and after collision.
After the first collision.
The two colliding objects bounce off of each other, some of the momentum from one object will be transferred to the other object.

A collision.
The tags and registration will get you into trouble, but it is not connected to the trouble you are in from the collision.
Plate collision.
In Florida, immersion in water or fire as a result of a collision happens in less than?

Collision detection in video games works by detecting the collision after it happens. This can be done in two dimensional games as well as three dimensional games.
