Combustion produces excessive Carbon Dioxide, causing pollution in locations that are densely populated with fossil fuel energy dependent people. In addition, Fossil Fuel is for the most part nonrenewable. What takes millions of years to form is expended by human beings in a few hundred years, so it will push us to seek newer, more efficient means of energy production, or it may simply motivate us to synthesize fossil fuels. I must hope it is the former.

What are the similarities of geothermal energy and fossil fuel energy?

Both geothermal energy and fossil fuel energy are sources of heat that can be used to generate electricity. They both rely on heat from within the Earth to generate power. However, while fossil fuel energy releases greenhouse gases when burned, geothermal energy is a renewable and cleaner alternative with minimal environmental impact.

How is Oil a fossil fuels?

The definition of a fossil fuel is fuel consisting of the remains of organisms preserved in rocks in the earth's crust with high carbon and hydrogen content. Oil is actually being debated as to whether or not it is a fossil fuel. Most scientists support that it is a fossil fuel and we need to conserve it.

How much fossil fuel is left on earth?

There is still a significant amount of fossil fuels left on Earth, but it is difficult to estimate exact quantities. Estimates suggest there are several decades to centuries worth of oil, gas, and coal reserves remaining, depending on consumption rates and new discoveries. However, continued reliance on these non-renewable resources raises concerns about their environmental impact and sustainability.

Is earth running out of non renewable energy?

yes earth is going to run out if fossil fuel

Is geothermal not a fossil fuel or is it a fossil fuel?

Geothermal energy is not a fossil fuel, because it is harnessing energy from the thermal heat energy within the earth and is not dependent upon decomposed ancient plants and animals, which is what coal, oil, and natural gas are, which is why they are called "fossil fuels."

Is geothermal energy considered a fossil fuel?

No, geothermal energy is not considered a fossil fuel. It is a renewable energy source that comes from the heat within the Earth's crust.

Is granite a fossil fuel?

No, granite is not a fossil fuel. Granite is a type of igneous rock formed from the cooling and solidification of magma beneath the Earth's surface. Fossil fuels, on the other hand, are hydrocarbons derived from the remains of ancient organisms.
