A ruler and a spring scale
Mass- Triple Beam Balance
Volume- Graduated Cylinder
Any instruments that can measure mass and length. (not at the same time, doesnt have to be the same instrument). By measuring the length, height and width of an object you can determine it's volume and by weighing it you can determine it's mass. From these results it's possible to calculate the objects density.
Mass and volume are both physical properties of matter that measure different aspects of an object's size and amount of material. Mass measures the amount of matter in an object, while volume measures the amount of space that the object occupies. Both mass and volume are important in determining an object's density.
Length measures the distance between two points, volume measures the amount of space an object occupies, mass measures the amount of matter in an object, weight measures the force of gravity acting on an object, density measures how compact the matter in an object is, and temperature measures the degree of hotness or coldness of an object.
472 kg is a unit of mass. It represents the amount of matter in an object, while volume measures the amount of space an object occupies.
The properties that describe how much space an object takes up are volume, density, and mass. Volume measures the amount of space an object occupies, density is the mass per unit volume of an object, and mass is the amount of matter in an object.
You do the Mass of the object then, divide the Volume away from it.
This instrument is a balance.
A micrometer (or micrometer screw gauge) measures the volume of a screw.
you would use a scale to measure the mass and a beaker to measure the volume. i need another tool
Density = Mass / Volume. There is not an instrument that will measure both so you will need to measure them separately and calculate the density.
a scale
a decibel meter.
The answer will depend on what characteristic of the object is being measured: its mass, volume, surface area, colour, density etc.
a weighing scale
a beaker
a calorimeter
