There's no such thing as a 'microbyte'. A byte is a data word made of 8 bits.
That means it can be split up into 2 or 4 pieces, and nothing else.
(A 'bit' is the smallest possible unit of information ... the 'atom' of data ... and
it can't be split up at all. Either it's there or else it isn't.)
Microbyte is not a valid measurement. A byte is usually understood to have 8 bits, but those can not be further subdivided.
A2. The base units in the SI system are metre, kilogram, second, ampere, kelvin, candela, and mole.A1. Giga, mega, kilo, milli, micro, pica [A2 note these are a few of the multiples or sub-multiples.]
That depends on what type of unit you are talking about (such as length, mass, time, etc.); but generally, a base unit is used (for instance, the meter for length), then prefixes (such as kilo, mega, Giga, Tera..., milli, micro, nano, pico...) are attached to create larger and smaller derived units.
1 000 000
Mega, Giga, Tera
Giga means 10^6 or 1,000,000 grams. Micro means 10^-6 or 0.000001 grams. Therefore A gigagram is a trillion tiles (1,000,000,000,000) times bigger than a microgram.
there are no giga bytes in 10 mega bytes. there are 1024 mega bytes in a giga byte
0.7gb 1 giga byte= 1000 mb
A giga byte is size there are 1024 mega bytes in a giga bite. Useally an avi format movie is 800 maga bytes and a song is 6mb so you can work out what you need from there
KB - Kilo Byte MB - Mega Byte GB - Giga Byte TB - Tera Byte while you may think kilo is 1000 and mega is 1 million... giga is 1 billion... and so on; it actually is not. a Kilo byte is actually 2^10 Byte which is 1024 Bytes. Kilo Byte = 2^10 Bytes = 1024 Bytes Mega Byte = 2^20 Bytes = 1048576 Bytes Giga Bytes = 2^ 30 Bytes = 1073741824 Bytes and so on... close enough right?
8 bits - 1 byte 1024 Bytes - 1 Kilo Byte 1024 Kilo Bytes - 1 Mega Byte 1024 Mega Bytes - 1 Giga Bytes
Its not tetra its terra. Its is a measurement in the powers of 10. as you know kilobyte means 1000 bytes A megabyte is a million bytes A giga byte is a billion bytes A terra byte is a trillion bytes then there are peta-, exa-, zetta- and lastly yotta- A yottabyte is: 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, 000 bytes.
A GB is a giga byte, which is larger than a MG or mega byte. A mega byte is 10 to the 6th power, a giga byte is 10 to the 9th power. A giga byte then goes into a mega byte .66666 times. If you need how many mega bytes into a giga byte, it's 1.5.
It is the data storage capacity of an electronic memory device.. GB = Giga Byte. Gb = Giga bit 1 Byte = 8 bits. 1 kB = 1024 Bytes 1 MB = 1024 x 1024 Bytes or 1024 kB 1 GB = 1024 x 1024 x 1024 Bytes or 1024 MB Please check whether it is GB (Giga Byte) or Gb (Giga bit)
1024 mb = 1 gb
1 Giga Byte is 1024 Mega Bytes because Gb was made after Mb. Giga means 1 billion and Mega means 1 million. A billion is one thousand X one million.
1gigabyte=1024megabyte=1048576kilobytes=1073741824bytes.
The order of the bytes go in - Byte (B), Kilo byte (KB), Mega Byte (MB), Giga Byte (GB), Terra Byte (TB)
