A pumped storage power plant is designed to run as a load during lightly loaded periods of time, and as a generator during heavy loads. An example would be a plant that pumps water up to a reservoir. It uses energy to pump the water up hill, and effectively stores that energy in the water as potential energy. When it is needed, the water is released to run downhill, and the kinetic energy is used to create electricity.
storage and power
The only way of saving any energy, not just nuclear, is to put it into a storage device. A rechargeable battery is an example, though generally on a very small scale. A large rotating flywheel is another possibility that has I believe been tried in vehicles. In the UK there is a pumped storage system, where water can be pumped up into a reservoir at off peak times and then released for hydro power when required. I'm not sure if this answers your question, if not try again.

Cruachan Power Station is a storage hydro-electric power station whereas a Normal Hydroelectric power station is produced and then used, no storage needed.
the first ever pumped storage power plant was in taum sauk in ozark highlands , just east of the black river in missouri.
Dinorwig is a 'pumped storage' hydro power facility. It has a capacity to produce 1.89GW of electricity, which equates to 6.8TWh. I terms of kWh, this would be 6.8E9 kWh or 6,800,000,000 kWh. (6.8 billion kWh).

Electric power has to be used when it is produced, it can't be stored in a reservoir, so at any time in the day the supply must be matched to the demand. The demand can of course include methods of storage such as pumped hydro schemes, or rechargeable batteries, but that is not direct storage of the electrical power.
There are a few ways. Rigs or oil platforms are linked together by pipelines. From there it could run all the way to shore to a facility and back to a station where it gets pumped into an oil tanker ship. From the platforms the pipelines could also run to a man-made island station or FPSO (A floating production, storage and offloading vessel) where it could be pumped into oil tanker ships.
The method stores energy in the form of gravitational potential energy of water, pumped from a lower elevation reservoir to a higher elevation.
The Spokane train station does not have a bag storage facility. It does not have a locker facility or baggage assistance.
