If the reluctant force acting on an object is zero, all the forces are said to be balanced
1. It is the state of being reluctant or in other words unwillingness.
2. Physics. A measure of the opposition to magnetic flux, analogous to electric resistance.

RELUCTANCE---lack of enthusiasm:unwillingness
True.. I got it right on my homework
Resistivity is the intrinsic property of a conductor, and it is independent of the size of that conductor. Resistance is an extrinsic property that makes it dependent upon the amount of the material that there is present.
reluctance
reluctance
reluctance, it is the resistance of a magnetic circuit to the establishment of a magnetic flux by a magnetomotive force.
"Reluctance" is a noun.
Reluctance is the opposition offered by a magnetic circuit to the formation of magnetic flux. The symbol for reluctance is R or Rm. Reluctance is measured in amperes per weber (A/Wb). Reluctance is equivalent to resistance in an electric circuit.
Reluctant is the adjective form of reluctance.
The idea of a professional police force was met with resistance because the public feared that a police force would act as another arm of the military, so there was reluctance to be controlled by an occupying force.
We need to overcome this reluctance to talk openly.

reluctant
It isn't. However, the ratio of magnetomotive force to magnetic flux will tell you what the reluctance happens to be for that particular ratio, in exactly the same way that resistance isn't dependent on current, but the ratio of voltage to current will tell us what the resistance happens to be for that particular ratio.
In a transformer, or on general, if a material is easily magnetized it has low reluctance.
