Electricity that is not moving
is called static electricity. you know, the small electric shock that you can give people after rubbing your feet and lifting them off the carpet in class. This electricity can be harmful if not treated proporly, trust me, my toung is still hurting!
The electricity at rest is called Electrostatic
i think its STORED ENERGY.
static electricity
The electrical force between non-moving charges is called the electrostatic force. This force is responsible for the attraction or repulsion between charged particles at rest.
Electricity created by friction is known as "static electricity."
The electricity at rest is called Electrostatic
A charge in motion is usually called an electric current, but could also be called dynamic electricity (analogous to a charge at rest being called static electricity).

Static charge mean "Charges at rest". And at rest, any charge can have its electric field, but its meg.field is always zero at rest.
Flowing electricity is called electric current.
