Motion is change of location or position of an object with respect to time. Change in motion is the result of an applied force. Motion is typically described in terms of velocity also seen as speed, acceleration, displacement, and time. However, the motion of an object is only relative to the position of another object. Motion is a change in position of an object with respect to another object.

∙ 7y agoMotion in physics is the change in position of an object over time. It can involve translation (movement from one location to another) and rotation (spinning around an axis). Motion is described in terms of speed, velocity, and acceleration.

∙ 12y agoWe all know that the rate of motion is referred to as the speed or sometimes average speed.. but if we add here the direction of motion than we have our velocity. Velocity is the speed of an object moving in a definite direction. The velocity of an object can be uniform or variable (non-uniform). It can be changed by changing the objects speed, direction of motion or both. When an object is moving along a straight line at a variable speed , we can express the magnitude ( amount of physics quantity in numerical way) of its rate of motion in terms of velocity. It is calculated in the same way as we calculate speed .
AVERAGE VELOCITY = initial velocity + final velocity / 2...
Mathematically = Vav = u + v/ 2

∙ 8y agoMotion is a body's change of position in space with regard to time caused by a force or a transfer of energy. When a body is in motion it is performing work since there is a transfer of energy or the exertion of force. Space provides the arena for the motion and time measures the motion itself. No motion can happen unless a force acts upon the body. Otherwise the body will remain at rest or if it is in motion continue moving with uniform velocity.
In short, if a body is relatively displaced to an observer, then it is said to be in motion.

Vibratory motion in physics refers to the periodic back-and-forth movement of an object around a fixed position. This motion involves the object oscillating or vibrating at a specific frequency, which determines the rate at which it moves. A classic example of vibratory motion is a pendulum swinging back and forth.
Cyclic motion refers to a repetitive pattern or sequence of movements that return to the same starting point. In physics, it often describes the periodic motion of an object or system that repeats itself over a specific interval of time. This type of motion can be found in activities such as swinging, rotating, or orbiting.
Friction is the force that resists the relative motion or tendency of such motion of two surfaces in contact. It occurs due to microscopic irregularities on the surfaces that interact when the surfaces are sliding or trying to slide past each other.
Oscillatory motion in physics refers to a repetitive back-and-forth movement of an object around a central point or equilibrium position. This type of motion involves a periodic displacement from one extreme to the other, due to the presence of a restoring force. Examples include a swinging pendulum or a vibrating guitar string.
Motion in science refers to the change in position of an object with respect to a reference point. It can be described in terms of speed, direction, and acceleration. Motion is a fundamental concept in physics that helps us understand how objects move and interact with each other in the universe.
Physics is the science of motion and does not have anything to do with economics.
An object is said to be in uniform motion when it goes in a constant straight line. Motion is the part of the mechanics branch of physics.
In physics this is called mechanics.Quantum mechanics is the branch of physics that deals with the motion of particles by their wave properties at the atomic and subatomic levels.
Periodic motion is the action of motion which is reapeated again and again over a period of time. EX- rotating ofa wheel, etc.

Yes. Everything in the Universe is related to motion and physics.
A dynamic force is a term used in physics. It refers to a force combined with energy that will cause motion. It is the opposite of static force.
what is regular and irregular motion in physics
There are different kinds of motion that exist in physics. Some of them include linear motion, angular motion, rotary motion, constant motion and many more.
Kinematics and dynamics are the two branches of physics which deal with motion. your wrong dumba$$
