Laser light is said to be coherent; regular light such as the type produced by an incandescent bulb is incoherent. In coherent light, all the wavelengths are the same, and all the directions are the same, everything lines up and is perfectly uniform. With incoherent light, you get a messy mixture of wavelengths and directions.
Light from a laser is collimated - i.e. aligned such that all the light rays are oriented parallel to each other. For this reason, you do not see laser light unless some of it is deflected by striking a something in its path or you are looking directly at it. In a filament lamp, the light rays are oriented in nearly all directions.
The main difference between three and four level lasers lies in the energy levels involved in the lasing transition. In a three-level laser, the lasing transition occurs between the ground state and an excited state, while in a four-level laser, an additional intermediate energy level is used to facilitate the lasing process. This intermediate level enables four-level lasers to operate more efficiently at higher power levels compared to three-level lasers.
The main difference is that laser light is coherent, meaning the light waves are aligned and moving in a single direction, while ordinary white light is non-coherent, with light waves traveling in random directions. Laser light is also monochromatic, meaning it consists of a single color, while white light contains a mixture of different colors.
An infrared pointer uses light that is mainly in the infrared spectrum, and so is mostly invisible to humans. A laser pointer in general refers to any device using a beam of light to mark an object. Both use the same basic technology. The only difference is the wave length. IR lasers are outside of the visual spectrum where as standard laser pointers are within the visual spectrum.
There are a number of differences between laser copy paper and normal copy paper. Laser copy paper is heavier and thicker, it is brighter, it gives a smoother finish and hence a higher quality print, it reduces show through from the other side of the page, it is more expensive.
A laser light is coherent, meaning its waves are all in phase and directional, giving a narrow beam. In contrast, light from a white flashlight is incoherent and spreads out in various directions. Laser light also has a single color (wavelength), while white light contains a mix of colors.
A laser is man-made, a river is natural.
There is no difference.
An ink jet printer simply prints. A color laser copier COPIES. This is the significant difference between the two.

Vending machines have laser scanners that can tell the difference between the bills.
Heat vision is like laser eyes, but using it in a heating way... Laser eyes are shooting lasers out of your eyes
Both have different use
While both optical in laser mice require a light source in order to detect movement, the difference between the two technologies are optical mice use LEDs as their light source while laser mice use infrared laser that cannot be seen by the human eye. Laser mice are also much more precise than optical mice due to a higher DPI tolerance.
Continuous I assume would mean a constant flow of light from the laser in the form of a wave train. Conversely, a pulse is only a single wave emitted by the laser.
The laser wireless optical mouse has laser sensors to direct the mouse on the screen as without it is a roll ball used to do so.
Burning lasers create more heat than normal lasers. Strictly speaking, Laser include burning laser. Burning lasers are powerful laser pointers like 300mW or above, they can burn objects like paper and tapes.
