the domain strength is much stronger in a magnetised nail. when you have a weak nail, there is no magnetic force. sometimes they can repell.

this is what i think and i always know best thank you

Why do strong magnets attract both poles of weaker magnets?

coz if you try to attract a weak and a weak side it wont stick. same with the strong and strong side. But if you put a strong side next to a weak side it will attach. When a strong magnet is brought nearby the domains line up more closely with the magnetic field. The result of this reorientation is an overall magnetization of the weaker magnet.

How strong is the magnetic force of a fridge magnet?

The magnetic force of a fridge magnet is relatively weak compared to other magnets. It is strong enough to hold lightweight objects like papers or photos on the fridge, but not strong enough to attract or hold heavier objects.

What are some ways of creating a permanent magnet?

One way to create a permanent magnet is by aligning magnetic domains in a ferromagnetic material by exposing it to a strong magnetic field and then cooling it to set the alignment. Another method involves rubbing a piece of iron or steel along a magnet to align the domains in the material and create a weak permanent magnet.

Can a magnet break glass if you put two magnets in between it?

That depends on the strength of the magnet and thickness of the glass.A regular magnet may work through a thin piece of glass, however a weak magnet will not work through a thick piece of glass.

What are the 4 forces?

The four fundamental forces in nature are gravity, electromagnetic force, weak nuclear force, and strong nuclear force. Gravity is responsible for the attraction between masses, electromagnetic force governs interactions between charged particles, weak nuclear force is responsible for radioactive decay, and strong nuclear force binds atomic nuclei together.

How can one determine the difference between strong and weak electrolytes?

One can determine the difference between strong and weak electrolytes based on their ability to conduct electricity in a solution. Strong electrolytes completely dissociate into ions, leading to high conductivity, while weak electrolytes only partially dissociate, resulting in lower conductivity.

Difference between a weak and a strong acid involves the acid's ability to?

The difference between a weak acid and a strong acid lies in their ability to completely ionize in water. Strong acids fully dissociate into ions in water, while weak acids only partially dissociate. This distinction results in strong acids having a more significant impact on pH than weak acids.

What is the difference between a weak and strong acid involves the acids ability to do what?

The difference between a weak and strong acid lies in their ability to ionize/dissociate in water. Strong acids fully ionize in water, releasing a high concentration of H+ ions, while weak acids only partially ionize, releasing a lower concentration of H+ ions. This difference is reflected in their pH values and reactivity.
