Physical properties are characteristics of matter that you can observe with your senses or that can be measured without changing molecular composition. Things like color, shape, size, texture, and temperature are properties that you can observe with your senses. Physical characteristics that may be measured can be gravitation, melting point, velocity, resistance, boiling point, etc.
There are also two subsections of physical properties:
Intensive properties-
These properties do not depend on the amount of matter present. If you had 3 liters of water and one milliliter of water; both at the same temperature, their density would be the same. Therefore density is an intensive property. Another example is state of matter; a solid is a solid and it doesn't depend on how much of it there is.
Extensive properties-
These properties do depend on the amount of matter present. Characteristics such as mass will vary depending on how much matter. Another extensive property is volume. The volume of a gas in a bottle is different than the volume of the same gas in a room.
Chemical properties are characteristics of matter that can be observed as a result of a chemical reaction; therefore changing the original substance. Examples include flammability, oxidation state, heat of combustion, ionization energy, etc.
See related links below for more examples
Physical properties can be observed without a chemical change.
Chemical properties can only be observed by means of a chemical change.
Chemical properties describe how a substance interacts with other substances to form new substances, such as reactivity or flammability. Physical properties describe the characteristics of a substance that can be observed or measured without changing its chemical composition, such as color, density, or melting point.
Physical properties of matter are those that can be seen or measured without changing the substance into something else. Chemical properties tell how the substance forms new substances when it reacts with something else.
A physical property is any aspect of an object or substance that can be measured or perceived without changing its identitywhile Chemical property of matter describes its "potential" to undergo some chemical change or reaction by virtue of its composition.
The interaction between infrared and UV light can affect the properties of a material by causing changes in its molecular structure, leading to alterations in its physical and chemical properties. This can result in changes in the material's color, transparency, conductivity, and other characteristics.
Nano anatase and nano rutile are both forms of titanium dioxide nanoparticles, but they have different crystal structures. Anatase has a tetragonal structure, while rutile has a more compact orthorhombic structure. These structural differences can affect their physical and chemical properties, such as reactivity, stability, and optical properties.
A chemical change is when the chemical properties of a substance changes and a physical change is when the chemical properties stay the same but the physical properties (shape, temperature etc...)
You can tell the difference by knowing that a physical property changes shape and that a chemical property changes the substance.
A physical change changes the physical properties of an element like color where chemical changes change the chemical properties of an element and usually can't be undone.
These characteristics are chemical and physical properties.

yes
the difference between a physical change and a chemical change is that a physical change is usually reversible whilst a chemical change is not reversible.

Characteristics we use to tell the difference between kinds of matter are called _________ Properties?
