make sure the balancer is level
On a triple beam balance, you should move the largest dial (usually the one with the highest gram value) first to roughly align with the known weight of the object you are measuring. Then, adjust the two smaller dials for finer measurements until the balance is level and stable.
You should check first your measuring devices before you use it for a true and accurate measures.
A triple beam balance is simply one of those topics that is of vital greatness, that entails experienced looking after on
If you don't determine the zero point of a balance before taking measurements, it can lead to inaccuracies in the readings. This is because the weight of the container or any residue left on the balance may affect the measurement result. It is important to always zero the balance before measuring to ensure accurate and reliable results.

First triple beam was invented by Lavoisier in first half of 17 century.

One can find out about a triple beam balance in a few places. The first would be to read the instruction manual. Other places one can find information are blogs on a triple beam balance, or forums.

yeah I'm pretty sure you could use a triple beam to find density you would just have to put whatever you're measuring on the beam then find the mass and volume then do mass divided by volume that's how you find density it doesn't matter what type of beam you have just as long as it's balanced. =)
To determine the mass of the beaker and fluid on a triple beam balance, you would first place the beaker filled with the fluid on the balance. Then, you adjust the sliders on the beams until the balance is level, indicating that the total mass is equal to the sum of the beaker's mass and the fluid's mass. The reading on the balance will give you the combined mass of both the beaker and the fluid. If you need the mass of each separately, you can weigh the empty beaker first and then subtract that mass from the total.
