The number one energy source for making electricity globally is currently coal. However, the trend is shifting towards renewable energy sources like solar and wind power.
Biomass energy is produced by burning organic materials such as wood or crops, while wind energy is generated by harnessing the power of wind through wind turbines. Biomass energy directly converts organic matter into electricity or heat, while wind energy uses the kinetic energy from the wind to generate electricity.
Wind energy itself does not create pollution as it is a clean and renewable source of energy. However, the manufacturing, transportation, and installation of wind turbines can create some pollution. Overall, wind energy is considered one of the cleanest sources of energy available.
One difference is the source: solar energy comes from the sun, while wind energy comes from the movement of air. Another difference is the way energy is converted: solar energy is converted directly using solar panels, while wind energy is converted through wind turbines.
The primary consumers of wind energy are typically utility companies, industrial facilities, commercial businesses, and residential households. Wind energy is commonly used to generate electricity for various purposes, including powering homes, businesses, and industries.
The American Wind Energy Association currently lists North Dakota as the number one state for having the best wind energy resources. In 2009, North Dakota was ranked #6 for wind energy resources.
Germany.
one and only Gujarat.!
As of recent estimates, Illinois has over 6,000 wind turbines installed, contributing significantly to the state's renewable energy portfolio. The total capacity of these windmills is around 4,000 megawatts, making Illinois one of the leading states in wind energy production in the U.S. The number of windmills continues to grow as the state invests in renewable energy initiatives.
MISSOURI
I would use both. One to blow wind for my wind energy

Wind energy is one of the most eco friendly energy source but is not as efficient as others
One and best example of wind energy is WIND FARMS that uses wind turbines or old age windmills.
As of recent data, Minnesota has over 4,000 wind turbines installed, primarily located in the southwestern region of the state, including the Buffalo Ridge area, which is a significant wind energy hub. Buffalo Ridge itself hosts around 1,500 wind turbines, contributing substantially to the state's renewable energy production. Collectively, these installations make Minnesota one of the leading states in wind energy generation in the U.S.
One advantage of geothermal energy over wind energy is that geothermal energy is more consistent and reliable, as it is not dependent on wind availability. Geothermal energy also has a smaller footprint and visual impact compared to wind turbines, making it more suitable for certain locations.
i would say yes, but... its not THE energy, but one of them. solar is becoming number 1 pretty fast, and wind and nuclear are tied for number 2.. think dependability, and reliability, and cleanliness.
