Gamma radiation is the strongest, followed by beta, followed by alpha.
So, in answer to your question; alpha is the weakest type of radiation :)
The three major types of radiation in order from weakest to strongest are alpha, beta, and gamma radiation. Alpha radiation consists of helium nuclei and is the weakest, beta radiation consists of fast-moving electrons or positrons, and gamma radiation is high-energy electromagnetic radiation.
Alpha radiation has the weakest penetrating power among the three common types of radiation (alpha, beta, gamma). Alpha particles can be stopped by a sheet of paper or a few centimeters of air, making them less penetrating but more damaging if inhaled or ingested.
The order of electromagnetic wavelengths from weakest energy to strongest is radio waves, microwaves, infrared, visible light, ultraviolet, X-rays, and gamma rays. This order is based on the increasing frequency and decreasing wavelength of each type of electromagnetic radiation.
Among the many categories of radiation in the electromagnetic spectrum, the radiation with the lowest frequency(longest wavelength) carries the least energy. This might be the audio-frequency radiation from speaker-wires,the 60-Hz radiation from utility power lines or AC line-cords within the home, etc.
Infrared radiation is emitted by the human skin. This type of radiation is invisible to the human eye but can be felt as heat.

if you are talking about radiation then yes but only few thin materialsalpha radiation is the weakest pentrating the strongest ionising

Alpha radiation is not necessarily the "weakest" radiation. Alpha radiation is the emmanation of helium nuclei, which is two protons and two neutrons. As such, an alpha particle has a mass of 4 and a charge of +2. As a result, it interacts more readily than any of the other forms of radiation. This means that alpha can be stopped with a few inches or air, or even with a sheet of paper. That does not mean, however, that alpha is the least dangerous - if it is ingested, such as into the lungs, it will be in close proximity to sensitive tissues, making it one of the most dangerous forms of radiation. Its penetrating power is certainly the least, but, "weakest", not by a long shot.
