Time constriction is the apparent quickening of time. For example, when one drinks alcohol, time passes more quickly. Compare this to time dilation, which is the apparent lengthening of time.

N.B. this is also a part of relativity theory if your interested in physics.

Time constriction would be the increase of time's effect. A clock within a space affected by time constriction would appear to tick faster when viewed from outside. An organism would age faster in this space. This is the opposite of time dilation.

To put this into perspective, say some triplets volunteered for an experiment. For 20 years, one is kept on Earth to live an average life, one is sent out to space at near-lightspeed, and one is kept in an area where time has been distorted by some strange force, like the "speed force" that super fast characters in fiction usually use as an excuse to make sense. Yeah let's just call it the "speed force" like DC does.

When they meet up 20 years later, the one kept on Earth normally will have aged 20 years worth, while the astronaut triplet would have aged less than 20 years and probably be surprised to hear that 20 years has even passed (time dilation), and finally the one who was subjected to the effects of the "speed force" would have aged more than 20 years worth and be surprised to hear that only 20 years have passed.

For some reason people keep getting time dilation backwards.
