way1.we can put oil (a lubricant) to reduce friction . a lubricant has a property that reduces friction .it has a slip that can easily move parts of machine without a irritating voice. before applying a lubricant it may may make a noise but after applying lubricant it stops making noise.

way2.by putting wheels under a big box or any big thing we can reduce friction because rolling friction is less . on wheels any thing can move easily .we have to not apply more force to move it ,with less force also it will move easily.

What are the ways to minimize friction?

To minimize friction, you can use lubrication between surfaces, ensure surfaces are smooth and clean, reduce the force pressing surfaces together, and use materials with low friction coefficients.

What are 2 ways to reduce the effects of fricton?

Using lubricants such as oil or grease to reduce friction between surfaces. Using smooth surfaces or materials with low friction coefficients to minimize resistance between moving parts.

Give the ways of increasing and reducing friction?

Ways to increase friction include using rough surfaces, increasing the weight of an object, and using materials with high coefficients of friction. Ways to reduce friction include using lubricants, smoothing surfaces, and using ball bearings or wheels to reduce direct contact between surfaces.

Give ways to decrease friction?

Use lubricants such as oil or grease to reduce friction between surfaces. Use smooth or polished surfaces to minimize roughness and friction. Ensure proper alignment and regular maintenance of moving parts to avoid unnecessary friction. Reduce the weight or force pressing the surfaces together to decrease friction.

What two ways can you change friction?

You can increase friction by increasing the roughness of a surface or by increasing the force pushing the surfaces together. You can decrease friction by using lubricants or reducing the contact area between the surfaces.

Some ways to reduce friction are by using or applying what?

Some ways to reduce friction include using lubricants such as oil or grease, utilizing ball bearings or roller bearings, and ensuring that surfaces are kept clean and smooth. Additionally, reducing the weight or pressure on surfaces in contact can help reduce friction.

Name 3 common ways you may use to reduce friction?

Lubrication: Applying a lubricant such as oil or grease between surfaces to reduce friction. Smoothing: Ensuring that the surfaces in contact are flat and smooth to minimize friction. Using ball bearings or rollers: Introducing rotating elements like ball bearings or rollers to reduce friction between moving parts.

What are 3 ways to overcome friction?

Lubrication: Applying lubricants such as oil or grease between surfaces can reduce friction by creating a smooth barrier between them. Polishing surfaces: Smoothing and polishing surfaces can help reduce friction by minimizing roughness and irregularities that cause resistance. Using bearings: Utilizing bearings in mechanical systems can help distribute forces evenly and reduce friction between moving parts.

What are some ways friction can be reduced?

Friction can be reduced by using lubricants or oils between surfaces, using smooth surfaces, and reducing the force pressing the surfaces together. Additionally, materials can be coated with anti-friction coatings or using ball bearings and wheels to reduce friction in mechanical systems.

What 2 ways can friction between 2 surfaces increase?

Friction between two surfaces can increase due to an increase in the roughness of the surfaces or an increase in the normal force pressing the surfaces together. Additionally, an increase in the surface area of contact between the surfaces can also lead to an increase in friction.

What are ways to overcome friction other than using lubricants?

Some ways to overcome friction other than using lubricants include using ball bearings or roller bearings to reduce surface contact, polishing surfaces to reduce roughness, and using materials with lower coefficients of friction. Additionally, applying a coating or plating to surfaces can reduce friction by creating a smoother surface.

What are the 4 ways to decrease friction?

The four ways to decrease friction are: lubrication (using substances like oil or grease to reduce friction), using smoother surfaces, reducing the weight pressing the surfaces together, and using ball bearings or rollers to replace sliding friction with rolling friction.
