X-radiation is a form of electromagnetic radiation that has higher energy and shorter wavelength than ultraviolet light. It is commonly used in medical imaging to create images of the inside of the body, as well as in various industrial applications such as security scanning and material inspection. However, exposure to high levels of x-radiation can be harmful to living tissues.
