Generally, it would be pounds or kilograms. But if it is a small kitten, or a really skinny cat, it would be ounces.
i think kilos or pounds or whatever you weigh yourself in. not sure though.
Weight = Customary units = pounds
remember weight is gravity dependent
Mass = Metric Units = kilograms
remember mass is not gravity dependent
Also be specific with your question. I would not have know what parameter you wanted to measure if the categories under the question did not specify "weight and mass". Unit of measure is parameter specific. (i.e. mL or fl oz for volume, cm or in for length, gram or oz for mass/weight...etc)
kilogram
By strict definition, the gram is a mass unit, not a force or weight unit, but people use it as a weight unit anyway. It is possible due to the direct relation between mass and weight near the surface of the earth.
Probably kilograms, one of which equals approximately 2.2 pounds.
Of course kilograms
The other units are volume units not weight units.
A Newton or a deciNewton.

That depend what aspect of the cat you want to measure - its length, mass, etc.
The mass of a cat in grams is greater because in 1 gram = 1,000 kilograms.
Depends on the SIZE of the chair. Normal house hold chairs - Kg. Or Pounds (Lbs) Avdp Barry
A cat is most likely to have a mass close to 3 kilograms.
it is a cat-scan machine

pounds
Pounds.
I would probably use kilograms.
feet
Centimetres.
For a cat I would use centimeters.
You would use Kilograms to weigh a cat.
An adult cat weighs about 10 to 12 pounds. Weight is a force, rather than a mass; so in order to find his mass we would have to change units. In the FPS system there is no convenient unit of mass, so the simplest way to determine this is to convert to kilograms, which are a mass unit. An object that weighs 11 pounds on Earth's surface has a mass of 5 kilograms.
kilograms
cm
Kilograms (kg) or pounds (lbs) are the most common units used to weight a cat.
