I don't know of atomic theory, but he came up with the idea that light energy acted like packetts of energy that he called photons. Thru some theoretical calculations he came up with Plank's constant that deals with the energy of different wavelengths of light.
Aristotle did not believe in the Atomic Theory. He believed that everything was made up of only 4 elements fire, water, air, and earth. This theory was proven incorrect as is evidenced by the periodic table of elements. In short the answer to this question is, none.
The Nuclear Model-1909 Ernest Rutherford's great contribution to atomic theory was to show what happens to an element during radioactive decay. This enabled him to construct the first nuclear model of the atom, a cornerstone of present-day physics The Nuclear Model-1909 Ernest Rutherford's great contribution to atomic theory was to show what happens to an element during radioactive decay. Albert Einstein's major accomplishments include developing the theory of relativity, which revolutionized the understanding of space, time, and gravity; explaining the photoelectric effect, which laid the groundwork for quantum theory; and making significant contributions to the development of atomic theory and the concept of mass-energy equivalence, summarized in the famous equation E=mc^2.
Albert Einstein developed the theory of relativity, which consists of two major branches: special relativity and general relativity. His equation E=mc^2 showed the relationship between mass and energy, laying the foundation for the development of atomic energy and nuclear weapons.
Albert Einstein made his first major scientific contribution in 1905 with his theory of special relativity. This theory revolutionized our understanding of space, time, and energy. However, he did not invent anything in the traditional sense, as his contributions were in the form of groundbreaking theories and concepts in physics.
Planck's Constant -> 6.626 x 10^34 Also the idea of Quanta's, further researched by Einstien. :D

Two related questions (completed with answers) should be followed.Cf 'Related questions' in the link below this answer.
Dalton's Atomic Theory 1) All matter is made of atoms. Atoms are indivisible and indestructible. 2) All atoms of a given element are identical in mass and properties 3) Compounds are formed by a combination of two or more different kinds of atoms. 4) A chemical reaction is a rearrangement of atoms.

Charles Darwin was a naturalist. His major contribution to science was the Theory of Evolution.

Every informed person is aware of the amazing accomplishments of scientists in many fields. The understanding of the human cell is one of those realisation. So it is right to respect the scientific skills that have added so greatly to our instruction and awareness. Our world is filled with so many marvelous things: Big things, little things, ingenious things, and simple things. The human cell is one of the ingenious things. The instructions within the DNA of the cell. "if written out, would fill a thousand 600-page books," explains National Geographic. " Each cell is a world brimming with as many as two hundred trillion tiny groups of atoms called molecules.... Our 46 chromosome 'treads' linked together would measure more than six feet. Yet the nucleus that contains them is less than four ten-thousandths of an inch in diametre. Which is why we can say it is part of one of the ingenious things. Newsweek magazine uses an illustration to give an idea of the cell's activities: " Each of those 100 trillion cells functions like a walled city. Power plants generate the cell's energy. Factories produce proteins, vital units of chemical commerce. Complex transportation systems guide specific chemicals from point to point within the cell beyond. Sentries at the barricades control the export and import markets, and monitor the outside world for signs of danger. Disciplined biological armies stand ready to grapple with invaders. A centralized genetic government maintains order. Hence, after becoming aware that intelligence must somehow have been involved in bringing life into existence, with such ingenious cells, we can only come to the conclusion that such superb organzation requires a superb organizer. Here is what the Bible has to say that will help us to have the best reasoning. Hebrew 3: 4 in the New Testament reads. " Every house is constructed by someone, but he that constructed all things is God." When we discover the obvious design cell built into the human body and its abundant fonction, does it not make sense to conclude that Someone ( a Cause) is resposible? The first Book of the Bible, Genesis 1: 27 reads. " Then God went on to create the man in his image, in God's image he created him: male and female he created them. Revelation 4: 11 in the last Book of the Bible reads. "You are worthy Jehovah our God, to receive the glory and the honour and the power, because you created all things, and because of your will they came into existence and were created. Shoud we not more concentrate our effort on the One who created all things, that brings joy to our life, more than what scientists did not bring major contribution to cell theory? The Bible is a letter from God according to 2 Timothy 3: 16,17. It is the way that He has chosen to communicate with the human race. His letter teaches us what our future holds. The prophecy written in the Book of Psalms 37: 29 has this to say. " The righteous will possess the earth, and they will live forever on it" The scientists who have studied the human cell, have discovered that it renews itself, and for some reason, which they don't comprehend, stops being renewed and that is when old age starts its destruction. Only God can stop such process and has promised to do so. The last Book of the Bible in Revelstion 21: 4 reads. "And he will( God will ) wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore". So it is really benefitting becoming familiar with one's Creator, who has our best interest.
They contributed the atomic bomb which had a major impact on the citizens of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
