Suppose friction vanished now:

1.plants (farmers are growing) and trees near your house will blow away due to winds.

2. ocean water flows into coastal areas without stopping near the shore, killing millions.

3.cell phone towers and current poles will blow away, so no power.

4. But first of all, hydro-electric power stations don't work (Think Why?)

5. You can't eat your food, you can't take them with your hand or with spoon!

6. Your respiratory system will not work (That should have been mentioned first)

7.all the systems in our body including excretory system will not work. (Kidneys can't function and villi can't send things out how much ever they vibrate )

8. Most importantly, how do you think blood will flow in your body, if friction disappears?

9.You will be literally in space which has gravity (objects) like buildings flowing in air, colliding withe each other)

10.finally, if you are alive, you can't even talk with others (your mouth can't produce sound)

I mentioned all 10 which came to my mind, excuse for my order of mentioning.

What would happen to your shoelaces if there was no friction?

If there was no friction, your shoelaces would not stay tied, as friction between the laces and knots is what keeps them in place. Without friction, the laces would easily slip and come undone.

What will happen if friction disappeared?

If friction vanishes suddenly then,Movement on the ground will be impossiblewriting, typing, etc will be also not possible.wind will uproot the tree and plantsa body won't be able to change its direction and state of motion until an external force is applied on it.

What will happen if friction will not be there on earth?

If there was no friction on Earth, objects would not be able to stay in place and would slide or float away. People would have difficulty walking or driving as there would be no traction. Machines and mechanisms that rely on friction to operate, such as brakes and gears, would not function properly.

How is life is affected if friction vanishes?

If friction were to vanish completely, objects would have no resistance when sliding, making it difficult to walk, hold objects, or drive vehicles. This could result in a loss of control and stability in many everyday situations, leading to accidents and injuries. Additionally, machines and mechanisms that rely on friction to operate, such as brakes, would cease to function effectively.

What would happen to pieces of wood nailed together if there was no friction in the world?

If there was no friction, the pieces of wood nailed together would not be able to stay in place. Without friction, there would be nothing to prevent the pieces from sliding and slipping out of position. Therefore, the structure would likely fall apart.
