The Increase in Gas and Air fed into the engine cause it to produce more energy. This in turn increases its RPM, and the driving wheels rotate faster...increasing the car's Velocity.

What causes the change in velocity?

Any force causes acceleration i.e. change in velocity.

What control causes a change in volocity?

A resultant force causes a change in velocity.

What is the force that causes a change of velocity when acting on an object?

Opposing force

What is the force that causes the velocity of an object to change?

Any force causes the velocity of an object to change, as long as it is not exactly compensated by one or a group of other forces that exactly cancel its influence.

What causes an object's velocity to change?

A change in velocity is caused by a change in acceleration. Objects do not speed up, slow down, or change direction unless they are pushed in some way. The acceleration (a) of an object with mass (m) produced by a given force (F) may be calculated using the equation a = F/m.

How is force a force?

Due to friction velocity of a body gets reduced, reduction in velocity causes change in velocity. This change in velocity leads to production of acceleration.(Because only acceleration can produce change in velocity either its direction or its magnitiude). And only a force can cause the acceleration hence friction is a force.

What can forces cause a change in?

A force causes an acceleration. That implies that it will change: * The velocity, and * The momentum.

What will increase accelaration of an object that is pushed by a force?

A net force will cause an acceleration. That is to say, if a net force acts on an object, the object's velocity will change.

How is the initial velocity zero but the acceleration is not?

Going back to definitions, Velocity is change of distance with time; and acceleration is change in velocity with time. Initially, the velocity is zero, as is the acceleration, BUT the Force of Gravity attracts the falling mass, and causes velocity to appear. But the continued application of the Force of Gravity causes the velocity to increase. And as we know, increase in velocity is acceleration. [space for QED]

Does displacement change when an unbalanced force is acted upon it?

yes it does since an unbalanced force causes acceleration which will change the velocity and displacement
