The longer the wavelength the less the light will be 'bent' by a prism. Wavelengths get longer towards the red end of the spectrum.
Refraction refers to the difference of the angle in which a wavelength of light travels when it hits a transition between two substances (e.i. air to water). It turns out that red light refracts the least with a refracted angle of 15 degrees. On the other side of the spectrum, violet light maintains a refracted angle of 15.32 degrees.
