It is difficult to compare the strengths of Electric force and Gravity as they depend on two very different things. The strength of Electric force between two bodies is determined by Charge whereas Gracitational force is determined by mass.
In general, it has been observed that the amount of charge particles have causes a larger Electric force to be exerted between them than the Gravitational force induced by their masses. This is also what we observe on a larger scale in everyday life where, for example, one's entire weight is supported by the electormagnetic force between the molecules on the surface of one's feet and the surface of the floor.
^^^I agree that electrical force is stronger than gravitational force. I have always been taught that is is because electrical force acts in all directions, whereas gravity only acts downward.
Electrical force is stronger because it acts in all directions whereas gravity is directed only downward.
The gravitational force is by far the weakest of the four fundamental forces. The electromagnetic force is about 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (1036) times stronger.
Weaker. Much, much weaker.

Gravity is the weakest of the four forces and is the only one that does not participate in any way in holding atoms together.
the gravitation force is weaker than electrostatic force because gravitation force is constant and electrostatic force may be varies.
Of the four fundamental forces of the universe, gravity is the weakest.
The electromagnetic can be stronger than the gravitational force.

gravitational force.
The larger the mass, the stronger the gravitational force.
Electric force can act at a distance, but is stronger when objects are closer. the electric force is larger the closer the two objects are The electric force varies with the distance between the charges. The closer they are, the stronger the force. The farther apart they are, the weaker the force.
actually in our daily life experience electric force or u can say electromagnetic force is more powerful than gravitational force. electromagnetic force is about 10^59 times stronger than gravitational force... but in light of string theory or m theory gravitational force is also as strong as electromagnetic force in multidimensional universe. for more info.- watch the documentary movie 'the elegant universe' by 'brian greene

Yes because electrical force acts in all directions, whereas gravity is only directed downward.
Gravitational force of the moon is 1/6th the gravitational force of the Earth. The larger the object, the greater gravitational force it will have.

In case of electric force there are both repulsive and attractive. But in case of gravitational force, only attractive force. Electrical force between electric charges. Gravitational force between masses. In electric force we use a constant known as permittivity of the medium. But in gravitational force a universal constant known as Gravitational constant is used. Electrical force is very much greater than gravitational force.

Static electromagnetic force is many, many billions of times stronger than gravitational force.
i love rosa! Please dont write answers if you dint have a real one. Thanks. JK
Though the moon is closer, it is relatively small compared to the sun. The sun is much larger and exerts a far stronger gravitational force.
