Martin Heinrich Klaproth discovered in 1789 (not invented !) the first uranium mineral - an uranium oxide. In 1841 Eugene Melchior Peligot obtained uranium as pure metal.
Uranium is a natural chemical element, discovered in 1789 by Martin Heinrich Klaproth and obtained as a pure metal in 1841 by Eugene Melchior Peligot. Of course, uranium is not an invented material.
Uranium was not invented, it is a natural chemical element. Discoverad as an oxide by Klaproth in 1789, isolated as pure element by Peligot in 1841, identified as radioactive element by Bequerel in 1896.
