It all depends on the way in which the iron's 'domains' are aligned. Iron is inherently magnetic as a material, but can become demagnetized as time goes on, due to sudden impact or when affected by another magnetic source. For iron to become magnetized 'domains' need to be in parallel with each other so the magnetic field created all flows in the same direction. An unmagnetized iron source has all of its domains misaligned A brief explanation of domains are a series of positive and negative charged atomic particles within the iron itself which behaves much like tiny magnets themselves.

Objects are magnetic because of the alignment of their atoms. Materials like iron, nickel, and cobalt have unpaired electrons that align in the same direction, creating a magnetic field. Other materials lack this alignment, so they are not magnetic.

The "magnitized" iron will have domains aligned to Earth's magnetic field. These magnitized iron will have poles and act like magnets. Some other iron do not behave as magnets because their domains are randomly oriented. This means that the domains do not align and will not act like magnets. This is also the same for other objects that don't behave like magnets.

If the iron atoms are aligned then the object is magnetic,

if they are randomly oriented then it is not.

How the object was manufactured may be the cause of the difference,

but it always possible to intentionally either magnetize OR demagnetize an object.

Why are some pieces of iron more magnetic than others?

It is because some of the metallic objects are more magnetic than each other(more iron than each other).

What and makes magnetic objects different form non magnetic objects?

Magnetic objects have domains of aligned magnetic moments that create a magnetic field, while non-magnetic objects have randomly oriented magnetic moments that cancel each other out. Additionally, magnetic objects can be attracted to or repelled by magnets, whereas non-magnetic objects are not affected by magnetic fields.

What is a force that affects only objects with magnetic domains?

The force that affects only objects with magnetic domains is the magnetic force. This force arises from the interactions between the magnetic fields of objects with magnetic domains and can attract or repel objects with magnetic properties.

Why are some iron objects magnetic and others not magnrtic?

If the iron atoms are aligned then the object is magnetic, if they are randomly oriented then it is not. How the object was manufactured may be the cause of the difference, but it always possible to intentionally either magnetize OR demagnetize an object.

Are silver plated objects magnetic?

Silver plated objects are typically not magnetic because silver is a non-magnetic metal. If the base metal beneath the silver plating is magnetic, such as iron or steel, then the object may exhibit some magnetic properties.

Can all force fields attract and repel?

No, not all force fields can attract and repel. Some force fields, like magnetic fields, can both attract and repel objects with opposite magnetic polarity, while others, like gravitational fields, only attract objects and cannot repel them.

Can people be magnetic?

No, people cannot actually be magnetic like magnets. While some individuals may have strong magnetic personalities or attract others due to their charisma, humans do not possess the physical ability to create magnetic fields or attract objects like magnets do.

Why were some objects attracted by the electromagnet?

Objects were attracted to the electromagnet because the electric current running through the coil generated a magnetic field. This magnetic field magnetized the objects, causing them to be pulled towards the electromagnet.

Why are some objects are faster than the others?

some objects faster than the others because its due to the movement of the earth.... hahah joke lang :))
