Because you don't have suction cups on your feet. Actually, even if you did, it's doubtful that your muscles would be strong enough. To stand up without leaning forward, your center of gravity is well back from your feet. So if you tried it you'd tip over backward. If your feet were stuck to the floor you wouldn't tip over, but the way your muscles are attached probably wouldn't give you enough leverage to actually stand up.
